Profit is in outstanding care I know a bit about hospitals, at least from the perspective of a patient. For 36 years I have suffered from multiple painful and debilitating illnesses. I have been treated dozens of times by at least ten hospitals in four different states and by innumerable physicians in emergency rooms, for sometimes extended hospitalization, for extensive tests, and for several different operations and procedures.
