Demand for H1N1 vaccines has dropped, but the Niagara County Department of Health continues to urge residents who have not been vaccinated to receive the flu shot. Public Health Director Daniel J. We were really naive in salaries," she said. "We tried to be close to Boise and Meridian [school districts], but for a school this size, that's really not appropriate. We are not surprised - but still thankful - that the legislature will examine new laws to tighten control of gang activity in local schools. Gangs have been operating in the community for several years, but few people thought their activity was equal to what metropolitan areas, such as Los Angeles, were experiencing. With little violence to report, was the activity confined to vandalism by glorified hoodlums - or was it the seeds of something bigger?
