Air Force Maj. Gen. Ronnie D. Hawkins Jr. has been named director of the Defense Information Systems Agency at Fort George G. Meade. Hawkins, who has been recommended for promotion to lieutenant general, is the agency's deputy director for command, control, communications and computer systems. Hawkins will replace Lt. Gen. Carroll Pollett, who oversaw the move of DISA to Fort Meade.
