Comcast on Tuesday revealed a new "TV Everywhere" platform, called Fancast Xfinity TV, that gives HBO and other cable channels immediately to a majority of its 15.7 million high-speed Internet customers nationwide. Formerly known as On Demand Online when introduced this summer to test households, the service gives access to thousands of hours of movies, network television and cable programming. Customers go to comcast.net or fancast.com Web sites, and sign in using a Comcast e- mail user name and password.
