The new group of educators brings our district's total of National Board Certified Teachers to 105. Due to the incomparable support of the process available to candidates in the district, Columbus Public Schools has more National Board Certified Teachers than any other school district in the state.
The Columbus Public Schools Gifted and Talented program is offering students an opportunity to take part in the first CPS Honor Chorus, in partnership with the Con Brio Children's Choir (CBCC).

RIVERSIDE -- For the first time in the district's history, Mad River Local Schools has fulfilled the state education requirement for graduation rates.
Preliminary graduation rates released by the Ohio Department of Education -- in response to a public records request from The Columbus Dispatch -- show that the Mad River district's graduation rate reached 90.5 percent in the 2009-10 school year, exceeding the 90 percent benchmark, said Lou Kramer, director of curriculum and instruction.
