The following contains general information concerning items that will be heard by the Board of Zoning Appeals on Monday, February 21, 2005, in room 803 Municipal Building, 530 Greene Street at 2:30 P.M. All person who object to or are interested in these items are welcome to attend. The BZA does not hear actual rezoning petitions. Rezoning petitions are submitted through the Planning Commission.

Mr. Ronnie Newsome, 54 of Warrenton Hwy. Thomson, Ga. entered into rest September 25, 2006 at Heartland Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Rockefeller officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens .
Mr. Newsome was a native of Aiken County, S.C. but lived in Thomson, Ga. since 1992 . He was retired as a Millwright from Columbia Nitrogen and was a member of Eureka Baptist Church in Aiken, S.C.

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Robert G. Luce, entered into rest on Thursday morning, June 28, 2006 at his residence in Augusta, GA.
A native of Readstown, WI, he had worked at PPG of Barberton, Ohio for 9 years prior to being transferred to Augusta in 1962. Mr. Luce had retired in December of 1991 from DSM/Columbia Nitrogen after 30 years, as a civil engineer. He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin where he obtained his Engineering degree. He was a U.S. Naval Veteran of WW II and the Korean conflict.
