Mr. Ronnie Newsome, 54 of Warrenton Hwy. Thomson, Ga. entered into rest September 25, 2006 at Heartland Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Rockefeller officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens . Mr. Newsome was a native of Aiken County, S.C. but lived in Thomson, Ga. since 1992 . He was retired as a Millwright from Columbia Nitrogen and was a member of Eureka Baptist Church in Aiken, S.C.

• Mr. Robert G. Luce Civil Engineer - Retired

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Robert G. Luce, entered into rest on Thursday morning, June 28, 2006 at his residence in Augusta, GA. A native of Readstown, WI, he had worked at PPG of Barberton, Ohio for 9 years prior to being transferred to Augusta in 1962. Mr. Luce had retired in December of 1991 from DSM/Columbia Nitrogen after 30 years, as a civil engineer. He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin where he obtained his Engineering degree. He was a U.S. Naval Veteran of WW II and the Korean conflict.
