NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said time is becoming an issue as the owners and players work toward a new collective bargaining agreement. The current one expires March 5, and the owners are set to lock out the players if the sides cannot agree on a new deal. "We continue to have discussions, but we've got to focus on having productive discussions where there's actually progress being made," Goodell said Monday night while attending a tailgate outside of Paul Brown Stadium. "We're getting closer and closer to that March deadline, and I think for the good of the game, for the good of the fans, for the good of the players, we need to reach an agreement that's fair to everyone. We have a lot of work to do and we've got to sit down and work on it. We owe that to the game.

A St. Louis County Circuit Judge has ruled that the Bayless School District's collective bargaining agreement is unconstitutional.
The Bayless Educational Association-NEA filed suit against the school district alleging that the district failed to recognize the BEA as the teacher's collective bargaining representatives. Approximately 90 percent of the teachers in the district signed representation interest cards indicating they want the Bayless Education Association to be their collective bargaining representative.
