The Equal Access to COBRA Act, S. 563, was introduced by Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., and would apply to companies that already offer health coverage to domestic partners and their children. A similar measure was filed in the House, H.R. 1028, by Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y.
