An arbitrator did not commit misconduct under R.C. 2711.10(C) in refusing pro se defendants' request to postpone an arbitration hearing where: (1) the parties' lawsuit had been pending for two years and before the arbitrator for over nine months, (2) the arbitrator had previously granted the pro se defendants a continuance on short notice, (3) the allegedly mentally incapacitated defendant actively represented himself in another case after being granted the continuance in this case, (4) the defendants waited until after the hearing began to move for a second continuance, (5) the plaintiff brought witnesses in from out of state at its expense, and (6) defendants' evidence of physical or mental incapacity was insufficient.
