With five performance-focused models and an added specialty package, the 2006 Chrysler Crossfire lineup continues its 150-mph crisscross from the German Autobahn, to Route 66, to highways around the world.
In addition to Coupe, Roadster and SRT (see Chrysler Crossfire SRT6 description) versions of Chrysler's flagship sports car, the 2006 Chrysler Crossfire family now includes an optional special edition package available on the Crossfire Roadster model.

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) - The 2004 Chrysler Crossfire and 2004 Pacifica are the first Chrysler-branded vehicles to receive an upgraded warranty program that includes free loaner cars during some repairs and maintenance.

One of the first and most tangible offsprings of the Mercedes/ Chrysler marriage (to form DaimlerChrysler) was the Crossfire. The sleek little two-seater is based on the last-generation Mercedes SLK sports car and also uses the baby Merc's 215-horsepower V6, transmission and suspension.
The Crossfire is available in both coupe and convertible platforms and each can be had in two trim levels for 2007: base and Limited. Unfortunately, the high-performance SRT6 with its 330- horsepower supercharged 3.2-liter V6 has been cut from this season's roster.
