Evansville Christian School plans to build a high school in eastern Vanderburgh County or western Warrick County in the coming years and no longer is interested in obtaining the North High School building. Brynn Hewitt, a Rancho Cucamonga native and 2007 graduate of Ontario Christian High School, has been selected as a 2011 Math for America San Diego Noyce Fellow, according to Barbara Edwards, executive director of Math for America San Diego. Now in its fourth year, MfA SD is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving mathematics education in San Diego County public secondary schools by providing financial and professional support to exemplary mathematics teachers. Hewitt's family have resided in Rancho Cucamonga for 12 years.
