LOMA LINDA - The sold-out gala hosted by the Loma Linda University Children's Hospital (LLUCH) Foundation raised about $800,000 for much-needed medical services and equipment at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital on March 10.
Roughly 750 people attended "Health, Hope and All That Jazz," the 18th annual gala fundraiser for LLUCH, at the North Orange Show Events Center in San Bernardino.

LOMA LINDA - Motorcycle clubs and riders from around Southern California delivered more than 1,000 toys for the patients at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital on Sunday as part of the 19th annual Motorcycle Rider's Association Toy Run.
An audience of LLUCH patients and their families watched as more than 150 motorcycles roared in to the LLUCH parking lot.

In the latest sign of an effort to improve healthcare for children, Stony Brook University Medical Center today announced plans to launch its own children's hospital, the only such facility east of the Queens-Nassau County border.
Stony Brook Long Island Children's Hospital will be located within Stony Brook University Hospital until it can be moved to a free-standing facility. Stony Brook expects the project to cost $80 million.
