TROY, Maine -- An explosive fire burned a local businessman's garage to the ground late Saturday night.
Charlie Henderson used the garage for his business, Henderson's Trucking, along Route 202 on Bangor Road.

Justin Miller finished with 14 points, six steals and four assists to pace the Rock Bridge boys basketball team in a 60-41 victory over Moberly in the championship game of the State Farm Classic last night in Sedalia.
Clinging to a 27-24 lead at halftime, the Bruins (12-3) outscored the Spartans 33-17 in the second half. Charlie Henderson scored a team-high 17 points for Rock Bridge. Ricky Kreklow added 13 points and eight rebounds.

SHREVE -- Chuck and Brenda (Russ) Henderson, 4771 S. Elyria Road, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Monday. They were married in Oct. 30, 1982, in Wooster.
They are the parents of Vicki (Scott) Huhn of Wooster, Charlie Henderson of Chester, W.Va., and Mark (Lisa) Henderson of Arvada, Colo. They have seven grandchildren.

Ricky Kreklow made five 3-pointers in a 21-point performance to lead the Rock Bridge boys basketball team in a 90-25 rout of winless Timberland in the opening round of the Peoples Bank Invitational last night in Troy.
The Bruins (2-0) held a 50-16 advantage at halftime. Charlie Henderson and Dave Duffeck added 11 points each for Rock Bridge, which faces Hazelwood East at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow in the semifinals.

James Daniel Wingfield, 70, of Courthouse Road, Dinwiddie, Va., went to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Southside Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Dewitt, Va., and the son of the late Robert and Alice Morgan Wingfield Sr. He was preceded in death by a son, James Brian Wingfield; and a daughter, Sherry Wingfield. He was also preceded in death by his loving mother-in-law, Bertha Brown; step father-in-law, Clyde Brown; father-in-law, Wilbert W. Smith; a sister, Laura P. Henderson; brothers-in-law, Quentin Henderson, Morris Franklin Henderson, Shelley Thomas Sr., and Charlie Greene. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Dewitt, Va. He retired from Central State Hospital, Dinwiddie County Maintenance and was a retired school bus driver.

The Rock Bridge boys basketball team advanced to the finals of the Troy/Peoples Bank Invitational with a 93-46 win over Hazelwood East.
Ricky Kreklow's 27 points and four assists led the Bruins (3-0), who had three other players score in double figures on the night. Inside, forward Logan Parks added 17 points, while Charlie Henderson and Trey Millard chipped in 10 apiece.
