NEW YORK - Shock jock Don Imus will return to the airwaves Dec. 3 after eight months of a well-paid hiatus brought about by a racist and sexist remark that once seemed certain to permanently silence his broadcasting career.

Andy McCord has joined Midwest Testing as an environmental specialist. Making the announcement was Richard Laughlin, P.E., president. Midwest Testing provides phase one and phase two site studies, wetlands delineation and permitting, asbestos evaluations, remediation planning, cultural studies of land and geotechnical studies.
McCord brings more than 30 years of experience to Midwest Testing. In his new position, he will orchestrate assessments to identify subsurface conditions and environmental issues, such as hazardous wastes, leaking underground storage tanks, asbestos and other conditions that can impact the viability of a proposed development. He will also provide consulting and remedial planning to resolve adverse environmental issues.
