  • Originally designed by Pittsburgh architect Tasso Katselas as the prototype for the Pittsburgh airport, the building that houses the Manchester Craftsmen's Guild on the North Side has more than given flight to many a career in the arts being home to the Guild for 20 years now. That's why, in honor of that legacy, the Guild recently opened "Ceramics Retrospective: 20 Year Commemorative Exhibition," featuring the works of nine renowned ceramic artists who have contributed to the legacy of the Guild through exhibitions, lectures and workshops. The 40 pieces on display represent the range of material, process and expression evident across the board in contemporary ceramics today.
