Good news: The Wisconsin attorney general has obtained a $5.5 million judgment against a company that sold windows on the pretense that purchasers could get their money back four years later in the form of a rebate.
Bad news: Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen said collection of the judgment would be difficult because the company stopped operating and its owner is believed to have moved to Central America.
