Opera Southwest in Albuquerque has just elected four new members to its board of directors. Among them is Santa Fe resident Bernhard E. "Bernie" Holzapfel, a retired vice president of sales for Boehringer Ingelheim Chemicals in New York, a member of the Santa Fe Capital City Lions Club and a volunteer with the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival and Wheelwright Museum. Also new to the board are David Waymire, nuclear physicist at Sandia Labs; Kathleen Waymire, a teacher of art history at Central New Mexico Community College; and Tony Zancanella, a student in arts administration at UNM.
