CENTERVILLE -- A visit to Innova Inc.'s Westpark Road offices confirms that this former startup company is growing. Innova, a producer of laser-emitting devices for the military, medical and cosmetic industries, has 7,000 square feet in office and manufacturing space today. The company looks to add perhaps another 4,000 square feet at the same location.

CENTERVILLE -- Wilmington Pike could expand to up to 10 lanes and the bridge at Interstate 675 above the busy street could undergo reconstruction if preliminary plans from Cornerstone Development Inc. advance to the construction phase. The street expansion would accommodate Cornerstone of Centerville, a 225-acre mixed-use development, which is planned for property formerly owned by the Dille family.

CENTERVILLE -- In August, back-to-back announcements from Bon- Ton Inc. and Kroger Co. changed the future of the northwest corner of South Main Street and Sheehan Road. CENTERVILLE -- A freight brokerage firm founded by a University of Dayton graduate plans to add more than the 50 new employees it has already agreed to hire. Total Quality Logistics Inc. has an office at the Centerville Business Parkway. The state recently approved a 45-percent, six- year job creation tax credit on condition the Clermont County-based company creates 50 new full-time positions that would boost payroll at the local office to more than $3 million.

A to Z Lawn and Landscaping Inc., Centerville Miguel Jimenez earned the Landscape Industry Certified Technician designation, Brian R. Cop-ley recently earned the Landscape Industry Certified Manager designation; and Kyle Webb, owner and president, earned the Landscape Industry Certified manager from the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET). All three are now internationally certified. Certification enhances an individual's professionalism, demonstrates a sense of personal achievement and increased respect and recognition in the profession as well as showing credibility and commitment to best practices.
