The Department of Labor (the Department or DOL) proposes to revise the current Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA or the Act) regulations pertaining to the exemption for companionship services and live-in domestic services. BLOOMINGTON - Wheels were spinning Saturday to raise money for programs to serve people with disabilities in four Central Illinois counties.
The Wheel-a-thon, sponsored by the LIFE Center for Independent Living, included a marathon of wheelchairs speeding around the indoor track at Illinois Wesleyan University's Shirk Center.

NORMAL - A single mother who needs the bus to get to work and a young man who wants to maintain his independence were among nearly 50 people who protested the elimination of Bloomington-Normal Public Transit System's Teal J bus route.
