  • The wedding of Maryglenn Williams Gust and Richard Stephen Blanks Jr. was held in Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church on October 29, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. The Episcopal service of a Celebration and Blessing of a Marriage was officiated by The Reverend Doctor David L. Dixon III and The Reverend Robert Hamner. A reception followed the wedding at BraeLoch in Vinton. Maryglenn's and Steve's parents are Mr. and Mrs. W. William Gust and Mr. and Mrs. R. Steve Blanks Sr., all of Roanoke. Maryglenn is a granddaughter of Martha Edmunds of Roanoke and Colette Gust of Washington, N.C., and the late Dr. Keith Edmunds and Lieutenant Colonel Walter S. Gust. Steve's grandparents, who lived in Williamsburg, Va., are the late Colonel R. Page and Myrtle Blanks and Commander Junius P. and Rachel Hobbs.
