Through no fault of their own, Iowa Class 4A No. 2-ranked Cedar Falls dropped out of the top spot in the polls earlier this week as voters tabbed West Des Moines Valley the state's best large class program.

National Trust President Richard Moe said Cedar Falls' cultural and recreational opportunities offer something for travelers of any age.

Peter Kessler recorded a shutout, and Louie Oswald scored twice as the Dubuque Wahlert boys soccer team downed Cedar Falls, 2-0, Tuesday at Wahlert High School.
Oswald, a Western Illinois recruit, scored in the 20th minute off a free kick and in the 32nd minute from a Tyler Wilker assist for the Eagles (2-1).
