The Rev. Joseph W. Kukura, a former Bergen County parish priest who advocated on behalf of Catholic health care and advised New Jersey's Catholic hospitals on ethics issues, died of cancer Monday at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck. He was 69.
Father Kukura was president of the Princeton-based Catholic Health Care Partnership of New Jersey and previously vice president for pastoral services of the Catholic Health Association of the United States, in St. Louis.
