Carol Ann Bell, 67, died of heart failure April 20 at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She was born Dec. 28, 1939, in Avery, Okla., and had lived in Redlands for 34 years.

GALENA, Ill. - The featured artists for October at Hello Galena! artist co-op, 121 N. Commerce St., are Janet Checker, of Galena, and Carol Bell, a summer resident. Checker uses oil or pastel to create portraits, figurative art and murals. Bell is a fiber artist.
