The poll also explored public opinion on several potential health care reform initiatives to address insurance coverage and increased access to care: * Almost 78 percent support allowing employees to continue coverage after they leave their jobs. * Nearly 87 percent support the state providing tax credits to small businesses that employ low-income workers and provide health insurance. * Over 87 percent of respondents support requiring all health insurers of offer a basic health policy. * Respondents were less certain about allowing employees to purchase insurance for dependents up to age 30, with only 56 percent in favor of that proposal.
