PLEASANT TWP. -- One man has died and another remained hospitalized after a crash Friday afternoon in eastern Clark County.
Robert McHenry, 65, of 5936 N. Urbana Lisbon Road in Mechanicsburg, died after being taken by helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital. Thomas E. Burnett, 60, of 16 N. Urbana St. in South Vienna, remained in critical condition at Miami Valley Hospital on Saturday evening.

Woods withdrew Monday from his own golf tournament, citing injuries from a car crash near his Florida home. His decision comes as questions continue to mount regarding what exactly happened in the wee hours of the morning last Friday - questions that most certainly would have been asked of him had he played.

HEYWORTH - A Heyworth Elementary School sixth-grader involved in a car crash Thursday has died.
Cassidy Broers, 10, of rural Shirley, died at 9:40 p.m. Friday at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Peoria. Cassidy died from multiple injuries suffered after the car she was riding in crashed into a tree, according to Peoria County Coroner Johnna Ingersoll.

CENTERVILLE -- A West Bountiful woman died over the weekend from injuries sustained in a head-on collision here that sent five others to hospitals.
Kristy L. Bateman, 19, was airlifted from the accident scene on Main Street near Lund Lane around 6:30 p.m. Saturday after the car she was driving and another vehicle traveling in the opposite direction collided. Emergency responders used heavy-duty rescue and extraction equipment to free Bateman from her vehicle. She was transported to Intermountain Medical Center via helicopter, but died at 11:45 p.m. Saturday following emergency surgery.

A judge awarded more than $1.1 million to a Moniteau County couple who sued for injuries from a car accident with a drunken driver.
The judgment was rendered in Miller County Circuit Court more than three years after the suit was filed in 2008.

WAPATO, Wash. -- A 79-year-old Wapato man hurt in an October car accident has died, the Washington State Patrol said Tuesday.
Leonard J. Hawk died at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center on Sunday afternoon, the State Patrol said in a news release.
