REDLANDS - A Redlands Unified School District employee has been honored by the California Teachers Association as the state's Education Support Professional Person of the Year.
Mike Shanteler, foreman in the district Air, Heating and Refrigeration Department and former president of Redlands Education Support Professionals Association, received the award in February.
