BANGOR A Newport woman was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court to three months in federal prison for her part in a marriage scam that enlisted Maine residents to wed immigrants.
June Roy White, 56, will spend the same amount of time behind bars that her husband, Albert White, 48, of Newport, is serving. He is scheduled to be released on Aug. 9, according to the federal Bureau of Prisons inmate locater website at http://www.bop.gov/ inmate_locator/index.jsp. She is scheduled to report on June 17.

How you get it: The Santa Fe County Jail's Web site has a database of everyone it's booked for the last 10 years, including each detainee's date of birth, charge and mug-shot. The New Mexico Corrections Department's site also maintains a database of everyone currently incarcerated as well as offenders on probation or parole. On both sites, all you need is a last name. The US Bureau of Prison's Web site has a search function as well, but it will only tell you whether someone has been in custody.
