Until recently, the biggest Cinderella story in the history of George Mason University was the 11th-seeded Patriots' remarkable run to the Final Four in 2006. On Valentine's Day, there was an even bigger upset when Reann Ballslee was named homecoming queen at halftime of George Mason's 64-53 victory over Northeastern. The new Ms. Mason is actually senior Ryan Allen, who uses the stage name Reann Ballslee when performing as a drag queen at local nightclubs. In what could only be described as a Ballslee move, Allen entered the homecoming queen contest. He lip-synced Britney Spears' "Womanizer" while wearing a silver bra and zebra-striped pants during a talent competition and received the most votes from the student body.
