Boxing will hit the Cayman Islands with a vigorous wallop on Friday night, June 20, in a 12-round NABO Super Middleweight Championship bout between Andre Ward, the 2004 U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist, and the 2000 Olympian, Jerson Ravelo, who will headline "Cayman Knockout: Championship Boxing." Heralded as the island's first championship boxing event, the lineup will also feature a 12-round USBA Heavyweight Championship bout between world-ranked heavyweight Eddie Chambers and knockout artist Raphael Butler.

Soccer sensation David Beckham will have to wait as world championship boxing returns to the outdoor tennis stadium this weekend as undefeated Paul Williams (34-0) challenges Mexican star Antonio Margarito for the WBO welterweight championship at the Home Depot Center July 14.
Williams, who goes by the moniker "The Punisher", has compared Margarito to a field mule, clearly upsetting the Mexican champion and igniting the fuse to the tube of dynamite before the actual explosion is to begin.
