  • The interior of the new Boone Hospital Center patient tower still looks skeletal. Exposed piping snakes along the ceilings, cardboard boxes are stacked high and rooms are sealed off with plastic sheets. But the project is beginning to take shape. In a hard-hat tour of the tower yesterday, hospital officials said the $89.2 million project is on budget and on time for a June grand opening.
