Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato has endorsed Democratic state Rep. Eugene DePasquale of York County for auditor general, ending speculation he might run for the statewide budget watchdog position. Onorato, 50, of Brighton Heights made his endorsement Wednesday afternoon when DePasquale announced his candidacy at the Boilermakers Local 154 union hall on Banksville Road in Beechview.
