ST. LOUIS - Purdue senior forward/center JaJuan Johnson has been named a first-team all-American by the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA), becoming the first Boilermaker to garner s in 17 years.
The Indianapolis native is the 17th first-team all-American in the history of Purdue basketball, and the first since Glenn Robinson in 1994. He is the 46th Boilermaker ever to earn All-America distinction.

Rosaire Toulouse, a longtime boilermaker for Local 29 in Quincy, Mass., and a devoted father who inspired his children to work hard, died Tuesday. He was 85.
Mr. Toulouse was a rugged guy with a big heart. For more than 40 years, he worked mostly in power plants, building and repairing boilers.
