The setting was a state tournament game at the Dane County Coliseum, where seven members of a local pee-wee team had the audacity to paint the high school's nickname, "REGENTS," on their bare chests. Remember, this is a state where 10,000 college students at UW-Madison's Camp Randall Stadium pummel each other with marshmallows at every Badger football game while shouting dining tips and sexual taunts to one another.

We have a lot of customers from the South Side that were using our Broad-way location," [Mark Fuller] said. "I decided to add a store in the South Side once we purchased Alamo back from the consolidation company that owned us before. I believe that if you live in a community you want to spend your money in that same community. The South Side needed something that I felt wasn't there.
The response has been unbelievable," Fuller, a native San Antonian, said. "Other businesses are glad to have us as new neighbors. That means a lot to me."
"I believe, that as a business, we have good core values," Fuller said. "I don't see our move into the South Side as a risk. If you treat the customers right you're going to have a successful business."

Third St. Fire was appropriate for the AIDS Resource Center's annual fundraiser because some of the hundreds of people that showed up when the doors opened at 8 p.m. felt that the party was the hottest ticket in town on Saturday night. The theme was glam rock odyssey and of course, a mask was essential. There were plenty of pink wigs,
afros, leather boots, psychedelic lights, big costume jewelry, a globe, smoke, rhinestone eyebrows and body paint. A pirate and two cowboys were also spotted.
