This letter is in response to the nasty flier that was sent out to Redlands voters. Bob Roberts and the East Valley Taxpayers Coalition haven't changed their tactics in years, his childish caricatures and absurd allegations are his standard attack on any candidates that will not support uncontrolled growth.
Roberts, a former Building Industry Association representative, and an employee of Emerich Corp., Leroy Hansberger's real-estate development company, was most recently in the limelight for his ties to his longtime crony, Jim Foster. Foster, a former Redlands councilman, was forced to resign as chief of staff to 3rd District Supervisor, Dennis Hansberger, for his apparent involvement in (questionable) land deals.

I have been a volunteer in one guise or another for over 40 years. I am the author of "Woog's Attitude Toward Volunteers Scale," see Volunteer Administration, Fall 1979, "Development of a Scale to Measure Attitudes Towards Volunteers," and I evaluated a graduate program to prepare volunteer managers funded by the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.

Twenty-three years ago, Johnson's calculated shaming of an 18- year-old rookie hotshot -- in front of the whole team -- helped to forge one of the steeliest wills the game has ever seen.

Someone has put up a $5,000 reward for the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for an unlawful assault of a Pittsburgh man and his family, said WVU Police Chief Bob Roberts in a release.

A little more than a decade ago, University of Oklahoma law professor Bob Richardson and then-state Sen. Darryl Roberts attempted the impossible.
They weren't trying to leap the Devon Tower. They didn't try to bring about world peace.
