On March 20, 2012, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (``FDIC'') Board of Directors (``Board'') adopted revised Guidelines for Appeals of Material Supervisory Determinations (``SARC Guidelines'') and also adopted revised Guidelines for Appeals of Deposit Insurance Assessment Determinations (``AAC Guidelines''). These revisions are technical and ministerial and were made to reflect changes in the organization of the FDIC's Board, of its offices and divisions, and in the categories of institutions that it supervises. In addition, both guidelines have been amended to effect limited and minor language changes.

Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner John Doak has accused the president of a troubled insurance company of siphoning millions of dollars from the insurer's coffers and concealing its insolvency through a series of secretive financial transactions, according to a lawsuit filed in Oklahoma County District Court. The lawsuit accuses the board of directors of Pegasus Insurance Company Inc. and company President Wayne Stark of being responsible for the insurer's eventual failure. Doak is also seeking the return of more than $8.1 million he claims was illegally funneled away from Pegasus to various other companies controlled by Stark, according to a lawsuit filed March 3.
- Robert Merrion, president of Remco Equipment Co., recently qualified as the first AIRMaster+ Specialist in southern Colorado. The U.S. Department of Energy and the Compressed Air Challenge recognize Qualified AIRMaster+ Specialists for their ability to use AIRMaster+ software effectively with industries for modeling "what if" scenarios for possible improvements to compressed air systems and associated energy savings. - The Colorado Trial Lawyers Association announced the election of Alan Higbie of Melat Pressman & Higbie in Colorado Springs to the organization's board of directors.
