BLUE MOUNTAIN - Blue Mountain College has teamed with Mississippi State University to restore an off-campus building to the school's use within a framework of historic preservation.

A trio of Northwest congressmen have scheduled the third in a series of public meetings on the survival of adult salmon and steelhead returning to Northwest rivers.
S. Reps. Brian Baird, D-Vancouver; Norm Dicks, D-Bremerton; and Greg Walden, R-Ore., will host the meeting Feb. 21 at Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton, Ore. The congressmen held similar meetings in October in Vancouver and Tacoma; this month's meeting will shift to Walden's home territory.
