Employees from Alvarez & Marsal began trying nearly three weeks ago to straighten out the New Orleans Public Schools finances and there's no end in sight to the task. Chief Restructuring Officer Bill Roberti has said the district's financial situation is complex. He and his staff of about 30 are spending long hours trying to prepare for the first day of school.
