  • A bill proposed by state Sen. Leonard A. Fasano to keep protesters 300 feet from military funerals and 150 feet from funeral processions will get its first public airing today at the state Capitol. Frankly, I am appalled and saddened that we have to pass a law to tell people that they cannot use the funerals of our fallen soldiers as a stage for their protests," said Fasano, R-North Haven, the ranking member of the General Assembly's Select Committee on Veterans' Affairs.
