  • CHESAPEAKE - Nora Jean Harris Sutton, 68, died Aug. 16, 2006, at Beacon Shores. She was born to the late Albert and Mary Harris in Kinston on Dec. 24, 1937. She was predeceased by her son, Jonathan Sparrow Sr. and her sister, Frances Hinson. Survivors include her daughters, Peggy Stowe and Linda Smith, both of Chesapeake; her sisters, Clara Lee Sparrow and Joyce Harris, both of Kinston, Debbie Radish of Jacksonville and Mary "Kitten" Jones of Trenton; her brothers, Bill Harris, Charles "Bozo" Harris, Randy Ipock, all of Kinston and Dal Harris of Wilson; her former husband, Marvin Sparrow of Chesapeake; six grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; and two special friends, Betty Roach and Pat Barnes Boyd, both of Chesapeake.
