Mrs. Catherine Mae Williams Bolling "Micki" 74, 15817 Gatewood Road. Dinwiddie entered into rest on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at the VCU Medical Center. She was born in DeWitt on March 3, 1933, to the late Bruce and Katie Gilliam Williams and was the oldest of 12 siblings. At an early age she joined the Mount Poole Baptist Church, Ford. She married Evan H. Bolling on July 19, 1952 and later moved her membership to the Mount Calvary Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Southside Training Center Food Service Department with 20 years of dedicated service. Mrs. Bolling was very inspiring to others and always had a positive outlook even during her illness. She will be remembered for her baking, gardening, sewing and love for her family. PORTSMOUTH - Laura Evelyn Bailey, 84, went home to be with the Lord on April 12, 2010, joining her husband, Howard and daughter, Susan.
She is survived by her son, Bill and his wife Rhonda, their two daughters, Bari Marland and her husband Wade and their three daughters, Bailey, Alexandra and Cydney of Manteo, N.C., and Stacie Wyatt of Richmond. Her daughter, Susan, has two surviving children, Bleu and Lanaea Bailey of New York. She is also survived by her sister and best friend, Myrtle Virginia Thompson and her husband, Richard and her brother, Bennie L. Williams and his wife Carol, both of Suffolk. She also has numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
