What does it take to have your furniture qualify as acceptable by charities? It used to be as simple as picking up the phone and scheduling a pickup. Now, if your item doesn't still have the price tag dangling from it, you can bet that there's a good chance your donation will be rejected. This does nothing for the mission to promote benevolence toward all. What is the point of having these charities encourage donations when they ultimately refuse free items from the community?
You take time out of your day to wait for the collection during their "pickup window." Then you witness them critique your items as if you're appearing on an "Antiques Road Show" segment.
