Back by popular demand, the first shipment of 12 Horse Ale left the Genesee Brewery this week -- the same way that the original beer shipped back in 1933. A team of horses, pulling a wagon, delivered the beer to several local bars and restaurants. The beer was delivered in a new Genesee Heritage Collection 12-pack, alongside classics Genesee Beer and Genesee Cream Ale. Packaged in stubby brown bottles or "glass cans," the beers are embossed with a letter "G" and adorned with vintage labels.
