BOSTON -- Rebecca "Becky" Eve (Dubois) Williams, 28, of Waterville passed away Monday, Aug. 8, at Brigham and Woman's Hospital, after a courageous battle with AML Leukemia, with her family by her side.
Becky was born in Lewiston, Jan. 31, 1983, the daughter of Michael and Mariann (Smith) Dubois. She attended Waterville schools, and graduated from Waterville High School in 2001. While in high school, she was a four year starter in soccer. Three out of four years they made it to the state finals, something she was proud of. She looked forward to teaching her children the game.

MARIE Ahmed's e-mail touched the bottom of my small, cynical heart. She is staying at a hotel in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, and needs my assistance.
She said she is the only child of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hassan Ahmed. Her father made a fortune in cocoa but was poisoned to death by his business associate. This followed her mother's death on Oct. 21, 1994.

Minutes before ABC's new TV show "Blind Justice" appeared on the large screen in front of her, Becky Williams of Milwaukee skeptically listened for the program's opening lines.
The last thing Williams, 54 or the other members gathered for a screening of the show's pilot at the Badger Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired on N. Hawley Road wanted to hear was another Hollywood-conceived blind character who could smell rain or hear babies crying from a mile away.
