Cliches generally become cliches because they convey a substantial truth, and that is undoubtedly true in this case. The UBE is an idea whose time has certainly arrived, both as a matter of fact and as a matter of reason. As a matter of fact, the UBE could be required for admission to the practice of law in as many as 10 states by 2011 and in as many as 30 states over the next several years.

ONTARIO - The University of La Verne College of Law has received from the State Bar of California, enabling its graduates to take the state bar examination. The Committee of Bar Examiners for the State Bar of California found the law school meets its guidelines, officials announced Monday. The college has been without State Bar since 2006.
