• Beckley Man Indicted On Escape Charges

A Beckley man was indicted in federal court Wednesday on charges that he escaped from a community correctional facility while in the custody of the attorney general, the U.S. Attorney's Office has announced. Emmanuel Stoumile, 22, allegedly left Bannum Place in Charleston in August. He was confined there by virtue of a prior conviction on a conspiracy-to-distribute-crack-cocaine charge, the release states.

HUNTINGTON - U.S. marshals arrested a man in Huntington Wednesday night after he walked away from a federal halfway house in Rand, according to a Marshals Service news release.
