Q: What are the best ways to treat common scrapes, sprains and sunburns in children during the summer?
A: The best way to avoid the cuts, scrapes and bruises of summer is by taking precaution, supervising children. Parents also should provide safety equipment, such as helmets when bike riding or Rollerblading and sunscreen and bug spray when outdoors. But even when all precautions are taken, accidents still occur that may require medical attention or that can simply be treated at home.

Ponce intends to focus and extend such analyses by considering collective groups as audiences in Steven Millhauser's fiction. Critics have frequently praised Millhauser inspite of his perceived neglect of the audience. In coming to such a conclusion about The Knife Thrower, Michiko Kakutani cites "Kaspar Hauser Speaks." In Millhauser's fictional monologue, the legendary feral child rescued in nineteenth-century Germany expresses his desire to be ordinary, just like his rescuers.

Dear Abby: I have a tattoo on my forearm. It's my deceased son's name, with angel's wings and a halo. Because of where it's placed on my arm, I wear long sleeves or three-quarter sleeves to work. If I feel it might "peek out," I wear an Ace bandage over it. I am a bank branch manager and I'm sometimes asked, "What happened to your arm?" when the bandage can be seen. I feel saying I have a tattoo defeats the whole purpose of keeping it covered, and I don't want to lie. What's the proper response?
