LAKEWOOD - A $3 fee will be added to all parking citations starting Dec. 7, thanks to Assembly Bill 1617, which was included in the October state budget. During its regular Tuesday night meeting, the Lakewood City Council approved a resolution updating its parking violation bail schedule to reflect the $3 fee increase. Since the city must adhere to state law, the vote was a procedural formality.
