For nearly five decades, State Street Elementary's historical auditorium has been a source of pride for one of the school's educators. In recent years, that teacher has been able to take that pride to another level when she helped restore some of the auditorium's luster.

That's what Adam McSharry and the rest of the cast of the traveling show of "Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance" do after each night's show, such as the one they will perform at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 6, at Bangor Auditorium.
We're very careful, and we're sure to work out every day and take care of ourselves," said McSharry, who has danced for 13 years with the company founded by Michael Flatley in the mid-1990s. "I've been lucky to have never had a serious injury. But we do jump into giant tubs of ice after each show. You get used to it, after a while.
