The President's threat to veto troop funding is inexcusable," says FRC Action's Tony Perkins
WASHINGTON, April 7, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) vowed today to strip language that protects all taxpayers from paying for abortions in the District of Columbia from the most recent temporary continuing resolution, which also funds the U.S. military for the rest of the year. FRC Action, the legislative affiliate of the Family Research Council, has informed U.S. Senators they will score against any such attempt in its annual scorecard that examines votes on pro-life legislation. Additionally and inexplicably, President Barack Obama has said he would veto the overall legislation that would fund the military at a time when we are in three wars.

At Senators [Barack Obama] and Hillary Clinton's first public rally together in Unity, N.H., on June 27, where each candidate received 107 votes in the primary contest, Sen. Obama remarked that the votes were not 107 for Clinton and 107 for him, but "214 votes for change in America." However, some Clinton supporters do not want to unite under the Democratic Party and demonstrated this at the rally. One woman from Denyer stuffed tissue in her ears and said, "I can't listen to him. No way are we voting for Obama. We're all voting for [John McCain]," she said, according to The New York Times and The Washington Post.
Obama's wife, Michelle, commented on "The View" when she was a guest co-host that Clinton did suffer from sexism during her presidential campaign run, saying, "People aren't us...

Like most Americans, Orfalea support the two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine dispute. He don't believe in America right or wrong, nor do he believe in Israel right or wrong. Moreover, he have been sharply and publicly critical of Israeli polices, such as settlements, Palestinian actions, suicide bombings, and American abetting of or indifference to both sides' worst instincts. Long past his lifetime and after many decades of healing and self-identity as separate nations, ultimate justice would create a unified state where settlers could stay and and refugees come home, where Arabs and Jews would be treated as equals, not only in law, but in practice. A sense of urgency about that problem, he don't doubt Barack Obama shares. It's endemic to Obama's worldview and sense of the crisi...

The problem is, there is no such consensus. [...] President Obama's trip to Copenhagen - not to mention his administration's attempt to curry favor with the international climate-change crowd by announcing that his EPA will regulate carbon as a pollutant - is a dangerous travesty in light of this fact. In making its announcement this week that greenhouse gases will be regulated by the government under the Clean Air Act - raising the costs of virtually every aspect of life in the United States - the Obama Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) also relied on the mysteriously gone-missing data of the Climate Research Unit.

Still shy of enough votes to pass health care reform, President Obama, White House officials and the House's Democratic leaders on Friday pressed furiously to overcome issues threatening to derail the landmark measure, seeking abortion language acceptable to Catholic bishops that would thus appease pro-life Democrats.
White House officials appealed to the historic nature of the measure, warning lawmakers that a defeat of the House bill on Saturday would kill any attempt to reform the nation's health care system.

There is only one justification for military intervention [in Libya]: protecting people being murdered by Gadhafi." So says Gareth Evans, father of the "responsibility to protect" doctrine that some say is behind President Obama's decision to intervene in Libya.
This idea turns U.S. national security policy on its head. Instead of using military force to protect Americans or defend our interests, we would be obligated to use force to protect people in other countries, when so directed by the U.N. Security Council.
