Ukrainian government plans to initial the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine in the upcoming weeks. The first Vice Premier, Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Andriy Klyuev noted that the foremost task for the Ukrainian government was initialing the Association Agreement. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, responsible for the initialing preparation, stated that the process would take several weeks.

Ukraine and the European Union finalized negotiations on free trade zone agreement today in Brussels. The parties agreed upon all the key parameters of the trade related part of the Association Agreement, according to Karel De Gucht, European Commissioner for Trade.

ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc., (NYSE: AAI) today announced it has reached a tentative agreement on terms of a new five-year pilot collective bargaining agreement with the Air Line Pilots Association (ALPA). AirTran Airways has more than 1,700 pilots represented by ALPA.
The tentative agreement will go before the airline's pilots for a ratification vote over the next 30 days. If ratified, the collective bargaining agreement would take effect December 1, 2010. The tentative agreement calls for increased compensation, improved benefits and enhancements to productivity. Specific terms of the agreement will not be released.
